Most unbelievably enough, another year has gone by and I am sure everyone is anxiously awaiting the, "Unexpected Party", which over the past few years has been known to raise an eyebrow or two. We are anticipating a wide variety of hobbit type characters any of which are well versed in the matters of partying and such. I am confident that the unbending spirit of our robust little group will prevail and that Mother Nature will cooperate with us, "although it really doesn't matter because this event goes on Rain or Shine..!!!!

Now for the details: As far as the place is concerned, no directions are necessary. Parker's Glen is the place.
The beverages: Bring a case of beer or two or three; some soda, not too much though, because sugar is bad for you.
The food: That can be left up to the imagination. Anything you think would be appreciated or even if nobody appreciates what you bring, "so what, you can eat it anyway."
The music: This item will be taken care of by Gandalf, Bilbo, Tit Bombadil, and yours truly.
Recreational Materials: Now here is a catagory where anything goes. Whether it be a he or a she or an it, this is an area where we need no suggestions. I guess it just come naturally.
Maintenance Materials: Coleman coolers, or any type of cooler. Flashlights, Toilet Paper, insect repellent, ice, napkins, frisbees, etc etc Bedding Materials" Air mattress, sleeping bag, tent, (as far as the tents are concerned groups are encourage), blankets and so on.
The Date" June 23,1979. Now of great importance is the matter of an "early start". If we do not plan an early start the day will be shot. What do I mean by an early start? Well one that will get you to Parker's Glen at 12:00 sharp. It might facilitate some hardship but in the end you'll thank me.
