On June 24 &25 at Parker's Glen, we will once again enjoy one of the more entertaining rites of Spring, "The Unexpected Party", and as Gandalf so eloquently put it, what about an early start? It will be necessary for all the fellowship to get an early start, especially for those of us who have three hour drives. The affair will begin at 11:00 A.M. sharp. Now, I know this means an early start of 8:00 am or earlier for some of us, but it is necessary lest half the day will be wasted.

Remember, there are tents to pitch and a variety of time consuming incidentals to take care of, and let's face it, the reason we are doing this is to Party not work.

Now anyone wishing to bring a friend or friends, such as Elves or Dwarves should feel free to do so, as their expertise in fire building and stone cutting would be utilized to its fullest. Remember, this affair goes on rain or shine, (if rain prepare accordingly).

Here is a list of items that will be necessary for the day's activity:
1. 1 case of beer per couple or individual if so desired.
2. Ice to keep said beer at the proper drinking temperature.
3. Food (Now here is where you can use your imagination and bring whatever you think will be interesting).
4. Music (Bilbo, Gandalf, Tit Bombadil, & Frodo will tend to this matter).
5. Tequila.
6. Any recreational materials you think appropriate.
7. Etc.,etc.,etc.
8. Sleeping material suitable for the wilderness.
9. Insect repellent.
10. You. I hope we will all be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
